The best part? There was no pressure to look perfect. Zion encouraged outfit changes and quick breaks. The studio lighting was soft and flattering — you could tell he knew exactly how to bring out the best in everyone, regardless of age or personality.

We tried a few different backgrounds, and even the kids got to pick one. At one point, Zion played their favorite song to help them relax — that small gesture made the whole session fun and memorable.

When the Photos Arrived

Just two days later, we received our online proofing gallery — more than 60 shots to review. The images felt genuine and full of life. There was laughter, love, connection — all the things you hope a family portrait will show.

The 10 final retouched photos were stunning. Each one looked ready for print, and the high-resolution versions were perfect for framing and gifts. The studio also included low-resolution copies for social media, which was a thoughtful touch.

And the best part? We had full usage rights, so there were no surprises or restrictions.
